Ex-governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was in attendance last Thursday at the annual Concours d’Elegance at the Pebble Beach Golf Club in Monterrey, California.  Joining the governor were a crowd of luminaries and gear heads alike, as were hundreds of pieces of automotive history.

Best of Show for the event, which is staged on the 18th green of the legendary Pebble Beach golf course, was won by a 1928 Mercedes-Benz 680S Saoutchik Torpedo owned by Paul & Judy Andrews of Texas. Other categories included Most Elegant, Best Postwar, Best Open Sports Car and Best German Motorcycle. Proceeds for the yearly event go to charitable causes, with this year’s total topping $15 million.
