British luxury automaker Bentley Motors Limited, known for its distinctive design, power and performance, presented its Continental GT3 Concept at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
The concept was specially designed for the FIA GT3 European Championship, a stunning race also featuring the likes of Alpina, Aston Martin and Porsche that will race in 24-hour marathons starting in 2013. The engine is weighs a total of 2,755 pounds, which is said to be lighter than its predecessor’s. The standard continental GT Speed’s engine weighs a staggering 5,478 pounds. The concept also has a rear-drive chassis, state-of-the-art motorsport hardware and a comprehensive aerodynamic package.
The interior contains carbon fiber seating to participate in the race. The large rear wing and the the front bumper are also made of carbon fiber, and the entire body is consisted of lightweight materials.
Pricing details for the concept aren’t set in stone just yet.
