Although the concept for the Bugatti 16C Galibier made its debut back in 2009, Bugatti enthusiasts have been waiting to see a production unit since then.
Bugatti has kept quiet about putting the Galibier into production, and if the previous rumors stated that the automaker should make a decision regarding its release by the end of the year.
However, new reports suggest that the four-door Bugatti’s future is still undetermined. New Bugatti boss Wolfgang Schreiber told Autocar, “We are still working on the Galibier concept, but I would say it is more difficult to fulfil all the requirements for Bugatti customers than Bentley customers.”
Now the launch of the Bugatti 16C Galibier is expected for 2015 through 2016.
“The four-door is absolutely necessary,” Schreiber said. “The hero car
, the Veyron, is now alone. I think customers would be very pleased if we had a second car, so I support it very much.”
