When the annoucement of Infiniti’s FX Sebastian Vettel Version came out, most automobile buffs were utterly shocked at the outrageous $155,000 price tag and exhaust noise to match.

So, with the $80,000 price jump from the FX50, where are all those extra dollars being allocated to on the Infiniti crossover?

First off, in the detail. The aero mods were guided by Vettel’s desire for the car to hit 300 kilometers per hour. Also, the carbon fiber is manufactured by Brabus, the additional rear spoiler adds a solid $7,650 and each alloy is 4.6 kilograms lighter than a standard wheel.
