On August 17, Italian supercar producer Lamborghini will celebrate 50 years of high-speed history at the Laguna Seca Golf Ranch in Monterey, California.

Set to impress is the 2013 Aventador, the intended replacement for Lamborghini’s 40th anniversary Murciélago. During its debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the Aventador turned many heads with its 6.5 liter, V12 engine – and an appearance that has been described as being a cross between the batmobile and a stealth bomber.

Also debuting in August will be the limited production, track-only V10 Sesto Elemento, which premiered as a concept car at the 2010 Paris Motor Show. Boasting a 6-speed paddle-shift, semi-automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive system, its carbon fiber construction makes it the lightest car Lamborghini ever produced, weighing in at just over one ton.

In addition to the unveilings, an al fresco buffet luncheon will be offered as a lunch break at the exclusive golf club. For availability and pricing information, visit www.concorso.com.
