Lamborghini Miami is painting the town gold with its latest project.
On June 16, guests at the dealership’s monthly Exotics and Espressos event were wowed with a Lamborghini Aventador completely wrapped in metallic gold.
Haute Ambassador and Prestige Imports owner Brett David told HuffPost Miami the genius behind the design. “When you combine the two you have a true piece of performing art which becomes a double whammy of the two highest valued commodities on the market today: gold and Lamborghinis,” he said.
The Lambo went under a 70-day process, much lengthier than the usual car-wrapping timeframe of 30 hours. The “AU79″ tacked onto its name is an ode to gold’s reference on the periodic table of elements.
The golden ticket reads $550,000, compared to the Aventador’s standard price tag of $500,000.
