It’s no secret that Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the “greenest” celebrity around. Despite his fame and millions, he even drove a Toyota Prius around Hollywood.
Now, DiCaprio is an investor of Fisker Automotive and buyer of the hybrid Karma, and who better to promote the luxury green car and overall global sustainability than the Titanic star.
“My foundation supports efforts to secure a sustainable future for our planet and all its inhabitants,” DiCaprio said in a joint statement with Fisker. “I am delighted to be working with Fisker Automotive to promote this shared vision.”
The Oscar-nominated actor got the first Fisker Karma with range extender in summer 2011, which comes with other eco-friendly features like wood trim–staying true to the automaker’s policy of “animal-free interiors.”
The Fisker Karma boasts a celebrity price tag to match its celebrity representative. It’ll cost $100,000 to help sustain the earth in style.
