Although rumors were ciculating throughout the globe about the Alfa Romeo 4C with superpowered V6 engine that Maserati would supposedly be unveiling at the Paris Motor Show, it’s clear now that a brand new sports car was just speculation.
Instead, Maserati lovers will get a thoroughbred with an open top and racing genes: the GranCabrio MC Stradale, a convertible built on the coupe version of the car with a similar name. The full reveal has yet to take place, but we can expect a 4.7-liter V8 with the same 450 PS and 510 Nm (376 lb-ft) of torque the GranTurismo MC Stadale displays.
However, the convertible will feature a different bumper, lighter wheels, stiffer suspension and tuned exhaust.
