Porsche have unveiled the 2013 Porsche Panamera Platinum Edition, which gets its name from the platinum silver metallic combination of design features.
Like all Panameras, the Platinum Edition model is available in both rear wheel and all wheel drive. It’s available in black, white, Basalt Black metallic, Carbon Grey metallic or Mahogany metallic. Each color exists in harmony with the platinum colored detailing on the design features, like the lower half of the side view mirrors and the rear diffuser.
The interior is as sleek as the exterior, with the new black/Luxor beige two-tone color combination, which is exclusive to the Platinum Edition. The model includes enhanced infotainment features, such as a Bose audio package, seven-inch TFT touchscreen and Porsche Communication Management with navigation module. The SportDesign steering wheel, headrests flaunting the Porsche crest and exclusive Platinum Edition decorative trim strips on the front door sills complete the special edition Panamera.
Under the hood is a 6-cylinder engine churning out 300 horsepower and a top track speed of 160 miles per hour. Able to go 0 to 60 miles per hour in a mere six seconds, the Panamera Platinum Edition will be available in January for $80,500.
