Drooling over the highly-anticipated 2013 Range Rover? Well, in response to popular demand we’ve dug out a few more details about this new edition, and we’re going to let you know exactly how much it’s going to hit your pocketbook.
Range Rover have confirmed that pricing for the 2013 Vogue TDV6 diesel will begin at £71,295 or $114,140. This new edition is a slimmed-down version of the outgoing Autobiography 5.0L Supercharged, which retailed for £98,395 or $157,525. In fact the Vogue TDV6 is more trim all-around, from price to build.
Full efficiency is the raison d’être of this new model, which has reimagined the classic Range Rover for the era of fuel economy and target emissions. An astounding 700 pounds have been trimmed off the new model, which features a chassis made entirely of lightweight aluminum. The car’s 1.7-kWh battery pack is encased low in the chassis in a boron steel cradle, which Range Rover officials assure will shield the model’s expensive lithium-ion cells when you’re tearing across rugged terrain. Officials have also listed the Vogue TDV6 with 333 horsepower and a 0-60 mph in under seven seconds. All of these changes will ensure that this new model achieves 45 miles per gallon.
